Investor Consensus covers many stocks and ETFs found listed on the main US exchanges: NASDAQ, NYSE, NYSE American, NYSE Arca and CBOE BZX. We also cover numerous stocks that are listed on the OTC markets. We also have data on companies that are listed outside of the United States but trade on US exchanges.
Real-time data on stock prices is currently not available on investorconsensus.com.
As of February 28, 2023, all data will be delayed by 15 minutes or more.
Pre-market and after-hours stock prices are also delayed by 15 minutes and provided by FMP.
For
stocks that trade on the OTC markets, our data provider provides either 15-minute delayed or
end-of-day stock prices.
For each stock, the time when the stock price was last updated is shown below the stock
price. The
timestamp is shown in Eastern Time.
Both intraday and historical stock price chart data comes from FMP.
Investor Consensus gets its fundamental financial data from FMP.
The fundamental data is updated daily, but in some cases companies are late to file their
annual
(10-K) and quarterly (10-Q) reports. When that happens, the financial data on Investor
Consensus
will not update until these reports have been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange
Commission
(SEC).
This ensures that all the financial data shown is as accurate as possible. It is the same
official
and audited data that is submitted to the SEC.
We gather financial information for upcoming IPOs ourselves using data from the S-1 and
S-1/A
reports submitted to the SEC.
When data from Nasdaq Data Link is not available for a particular stock, then we may use
data from
FMP instead.
All price target, analyst estimate, analyst recommendation, and financial forecast data comes from FMP and is sourced from Wall Street analysts and other sell-side and buy-side analysts. The data set may be slightly different than what other sites show. All of these numbers are predictions and should not be relied upon to make investment decisions. It is impossible to accurately predict stock prices so analysts are often wrong. We also use various data points from Barchart and Finnhub, particularly for ETFs.
Most ETF holdings data comes from FMP when available.
Most historical dividends data comes from either Finnhub or FMP. Dividend yield, dividend growth, payout frequency, and other metrics are calculated by us based on the historical dividend data. Ex-dividend dates, if available, are provided by FMP.
You should always do your own due diligence and not rely on investorconsensus.com for
accurate data.
Each stock, ETF, or other financial instrument is added to the site via an API call sourced
from
FMP. From time to time a human being reviews the data to ensure that it is accurate but by
using
investorconsensus.com you agree not to hold the company liable and you further agree to do
your own
research and due diligence.
In addition, we gather data from various sources about new stock listings, delistings, name
or
symbol changes, mergers, acquisitions, and others to ensure that all stocks on the site are
displayed in the most accurate way possible.
That said, it is impossible to maintain 100% accuracy for thousands of stocks and ETFs. If
you
notice any discrepancies then please contact us and we will look into it right away. Please
contact
us at [email protected].
